Browsing the Gamenize site
Gamenize is a static website. Its catalog search and filters run in your browser. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser and device details, requested files, and request times, to deliver and protect the site. Retention depends on the provider’s policies.
Shopping cart
The browser stores product identifiers and quantities in local storage under gamenize-stripe-cart-v1 so the cart persists between visits. The cart contents are sent to Gamenize's same-origin PHP API for inventory validation when checkout begins. Product listings and payment information are not stored in this browser cart. Clearing this browser’s site data removes the saved cart.
Checkout and orders
Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Information you provide there, which may include contact, shipping, and payment information, is processed by Stripe and the seller according to their applicable privacy notices and settings. Gamenize's server receives Stripe payment events and stores order, fulfillment, and necessary customer/shipping details in its protected store database. Gamenize does not receive or store payment card details. Review the seller’s privacy policyseller privacy policy link, which has not been configured yet before placing an order.
Accounts and local game library
Gamenize does not manage customer passwords or accounts in this static site. The separate historical game archive may store favorites, named collections, and recent game launches in this browser under gamenize-library-v1; these are not synchronized by Gamenize.
Cookies, analytics, and external services
The site does not intentionally include analytics or advertising scripts. Stripe's hosted checkout is an external service and may use cookies or other technologies under Stripe's settings and privacy information.
Questions and updates
